Who do you have to bug to get access to the IIT's Lan. Its nice to find passions in the strangest places. Did you get a sense of whether he really watches his films and what his own tastes etc were? That sure was a nice pirate story. However most of the pirates in present India have glasses and have top level engineering or management degrees- the LAN movie collections in IITs etc is incredible.. not just movies things like TV series and music - wow. I mean 6 yrs back not everyone knew about divx or avis and even 3 yrs back not everyone had VLC player its just that this new generation of movie watchers are now happy with the small screen experience obtained from ripped dvds and porated dvds etcetc. Interestingly this generation of hostel LAN users and their friends have watched more movies than any prev generation including foreign language films which is probably why VLC player is so abundant - as it allows adding subtitle files! Did you go back again to shop 34 and you paid 175??
