Dear Dev,

Road is so Absolutely brilliant, simple, poignant, happy and easy – has so much to it that you don’t feel like leaving the movie hall well after its over.

Not since watching “Gupi Gayen Bagha Bayan” as I grew up as a kid in Cal have I felt this nice and pleased with a movie… It Transcends boundaries and Communicates with its audience so effortlessly.. Find myself at a loss for words for a change and I am having problem articulating the emotions the movie evokes in me and I seldom feel that way, even though I have written a paragraph talking about it… ) .. For me it’s a masterpiece and would very well go down as one of the best movies ever made.. You are now one of the reasons why I would always love Films.. Congratulations to you and the entire Road crew !!

Nice to see the positive buzz this movie has been generating. And the favorable reviews like Atin’s above (I had read a nice little piece on BollywoodSpice.com as well).

Congratulations Dev; this deserves a larger release. Hopefully doesn’t stay confined to the festival circuits

We saw Road, Movie yesterday in Toronto. Needless to add we were complete blown away. The film critic in me became another huge fan.
Regardless how hard I observed (and I observe well), I did not and could not find any flaws.
The characters are indeed real – not a cliche type real. As a young man in India, I traveled extensively and came across your characters.
Your work has blossomed wonderfully well step by progressive step.
From English August to Split Wide Open to Road, Movie – Mr. Benegal you have arrived.
I hope we will see you working with Rahul Bose again.

The clip looks wonderful, it’s amazing what a 30 second clip can do to a person in terms of captivating the viewer. I came across your website today and found it wonderful, its one of those laid back, yet also insightful websites that you can read for hours.
